About Us

REDEC/RRC is the Southern Tier's primary revolving loan fund, providing financial and technical assistance for start-up and expanding businesses located in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tioga Counties.

REDEC/RRC is an important and vital contributor to the economic health of our region, by participating in projects that will have a positive impact on employment and broaden our communities’ tax base.

We have developed strong working relationships with the private financial institutions, economic development organizations, counties and chambers of commerce. Equally important are the dedicated volunteer board of directors and the local business community.

REDEC and REDEC Relending Corporation (RRC) have a variety of different loan programs available to assist small business located in Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben Counties of New York State. The programs vary based on eligible uses and the maximum amount of funding which can be requested. REDEC and RRC can tailor a loan program that best fits your businesses financing needs.

REDEC/RRC has provided loans to 427 businesses in the region totaling over $17.4 million and leveraging over $122 million and impacting 3980 jobs. REDEC/RRC provides technical assistance to small businesses as well as financing.

REDEC/RRC sponsors a monthly Women in Business Roundtable which provides a forum and networking opportunity for women in business. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 8:30AM. (No meetings in July and August).
