The NSM is an aviation museum working to preserve the history of motorless flight. The NSM has had a long history, entwined with that of Harris Hill and its surrounding area.
It is located directly across from the Harris Hill Soaring Corporation's airfield, with an elevation of 1,709 feet above sea level.
The National Soaring Museum preserves and presents the heritage of motorless flight, and promotes a greater knowledge of soaring, aeronautics, and related physical sciences.
