Ed Bond grew up two blocks from the ocean on the Jersey Shore but now happily lives in Horseheads, New York. He'd been in journalism for 25 years. From 1989 to 1992, he was the Corning bureau reporter for the Star-Gazette. He’s also been a reporter for the L.A. Times and co-wrote the story for an episode of "Star Trek: Voyager.”
He and his wife, Amy, have two sons, a dog, three cats and one pirate ship tree house.
In January 2012, Ed had a dream about checkers moving like chess pieces, based on the roll of a special pair of dice. That led to the invention of MetaCheckers and the beginnings of MetaDreams LLC.
He is designing new games, while also creating digital and laser cut art.
