Jan 17 - Jan 21    ROBIN AND JULIA ROGERS GUEST ARTIST DEMO

See guest artists Robin and Julia Rogers during live, narrated demonstrations in the Amphitheater Hot Shop January 17 through 21 from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm.

Robin and Julia Rogers' paths first crossed in a small hot glass studio in Western Montana in 2001. At this shop, called Cloud Cap Glass, their friendship grew and their glass practices began to overlap. They both became part owners of the studio and worked together, operating the small business and creating glass works. In 2010, after nearly 10 years of working together and assisting with each other's work, the duo decided to start creating artwork collaboratively. In these bodies of work, every step of the process, from conception to installing, is completed by both artists. This method of working has led to the creation of artwork that Julia and Robin are excited to make and proud to exhibit. Through the synergy of this collaboration, the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts.

These demos are included in the cost of admission (kids and teens 17 and under are free).

Jan 25    Social Media & Digital Marketing - Part 2

Social Media & Digital Marketing
Part two of a four-part series

Co-sponsored by Institute for Human Services, Inc.

Business in today’s day and age is dominated by customers and their demands. People prefer to see referrals, reviews over Google search results, or a website before purchasing a product. To stand by the flow, we need to learn what people say about us. Marketing, especially through digital platforms, has evolved into creating an experience that drives your customers towards interaction and engagement. Social media marketing is a must to target a wider customer base and expand your business.

Part two of the series will build upon the knowledge from session one. In the first session, we discussed goal setting and audience personas. In session two we will use the marketing goals and target audience profiles to develop a story that helps define your brand to customers. Creating an experience that highlights the story of your organization is essential to successful content marketing.

Session two will also highlight how to set up content on individual platforms to save your organization time and money. From content creation to evaluation and control, you will have an opportunity to walk out of the session with resources and knowledge that can be implemented right away.
