Free & open to the public. The Studio.

Watch as Expanding Horizons students demonstrate glassblowing techniques with a special guest artist. Expanding Horizons is a week-long program for underserved teens who are top students in glassblowing classes across the nation. The program is supported by the Robert M. Minkoff Foundation. Jul 25 - Jul 27    Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes - Summer Camp
The Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes will be sponsoring a summer camp for children ages 7-11 on July 25-27 from 10 AM - 3 PM each day.  The camp will focus on life in America during the Civil War era including the underground railroad.  There will be a variety of interactive activities and demonstrations including hiding in plain sight, building model log cabins, fishing at the river, civil war re-enactors and an ice cream social.  - Mark your calendars for July 29 – the Heritage Village Craft Beverage Expo! The event will take place at the Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes at 73 W. Pulteney St. in Corning NY. Join us between 1-4pm for local craft beverage tastings, as well as seminars on beer making, hops, home brew contest, and more. Our featured guest speaker, Tina Weymann, NYS Beer Governor at Great Lakes Brewing News will discuss the roles of inns and taverns from colonial times until the mid-20th century.
 
With the ticket price you will receive a complimentary hand thrown pottery tasting cup. There will also be demonstrations of blacksmithing, hearth cooking, spinning, and joinery. Food by Global Taco and Sweet Sarah’s kitchen will be available for purchase.
