Thaddeus Wolfe Guest Artist Live-Streamed Demo at CMOG
See guest artist Thaddeus Wolfe in a live, narrated demonstration in the Amphitheater Hot Shop on November 7–9. Demonstrations are 10 am–12 pm; 1–4 pm daily (times may vary).
Just recently named as the 2016 Rakow Commission Artist, Wolfe's art is situated at the nexus between art, design, and craft. His objects are refined explorations of the possibilities and applications of mold-blown glass, a technique with origins in ancient Rome. Employing new materials and aesthetics, Wolfe mines this ancient technique to create objects that appear futuristic and otherworldly.
