Storied Winds-- Music Speaks

Members of the OSFL, Lesley McClelland (oboe), David Resig (bassoon) and Claire Tuxill McKenney have formed a new ensemble made up of old friends. Storied Winds is a wind trio that explores spoken word performance, embracing the notion that music speaks. They will perform music written specifically for this unusual instrument combination as well as arrangements, with and without poetry narrations.  This concert includes music by Mozart, Reicha and Hovhaness.
