Ribbon Cutting for New Arbor Housing and Development Headquarters
Corning, NY – Arbor Housing and Development and the Corning Area Chamber of Commerce have scheduled a “Ribbon Cutting” ceremony at the new headquarters of Arbor Housing and Development. The new office, located at 26 Bridge Street in Corning, NY is the site of the former Harding Harley-Davidson. The ceremony will be on June 13th beginning at 10:00 AM, with guest speakers, and the “Ribbon Cutting”. Speakers will include representatives from many of the Investors/Supporters of the project, including, Community Bank, N.A., Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council, Empire State Development, Steuben County IDA, Regional Economic Development and Energy Corporation (REDEC), NYS Homes & Community Renewal, Corning Enterprises, NYS Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
Arbor Housing and Development Board Chair Chuck Franzese states “This new headquarters culminates the process of merging the offices of Tri County Housing Council and Arbor Development, which began three years ago when Arbor Housing and Development was born.” The new Bridge Street location brings 40 jobs from the two former Arbor Housing and Development offices to the Downtown Corning area, by combining the Bath and Big Flats offices, which Arbor Housing and Development formerly occupied.
Arbor Housing and Development President/CEO Jeffrey Eaton states “Our new headquarters is a prime example of what is possible when private investors, corporate sponsors and economic development funds come together. We are excited to be a member of the Corning community and look forward to providing the same high quality service that we have for the last 45 years.”
Following the ceremony light refreshments will be available as well as tours of the new building.
We invite the public to join us for the “Ribbon Cutting” ceremony.
