Media Relations 101 with Denis Sweeney

Program Description
Preparing for a phone call or e-mail from the media is a must for any organization executive, manager or public relations employee looking to elevate their company’s profile, especially during a crisis situation. When “No Comment” is the Wrong Comment—Media Relations 101 focuses on practical techniques with seminar attendees participating in an on-camera videotaped mock interview on how to:

• Avoid communication blunders
• Learn what to say before saying it to the media
• Prepare key specific talking points for the media and the community.
