Marvelous Marble Day

Come inside and play! Marvelous Marble Day is rolling back into the Museum! 

Join us Sunday, February 15, from 10 am–2 pm for a day dedicated to everything glassy, round, and wonderfully fun.

Watch live glassmaking demonstrations and marble-themed flameworking in action, then head into the galleries for a marble-themed hunt that will have you looking at glass in a whole new way. 

Learn how to play from the pros! Players from the National Marble Tournament will be on site, teaching visitors classic marble games and sharing their skills.

Feeling lucky? Drop a marble down our Plinko board to win raffle tickets toward a prize. 

LEGO fans won’t want to miss the ROCLUG Great Ball Contraption, a mesmerizing chain reaction of rolling marbles and clever engineering.

Mega-Marble Run Alert!
From 10 am–2 pm, help build a room-filling mega-marble run in the Auditorium. This collaborative engineering challenge is hands-on, creative, and seriously cool; you won’t want to miss seeing it come together.

Refuel with a marble-themed treats from the Café, then jump back in for more rolling fun.

All ages welcome. Curiosity encouraged!
