Learn about the creation of the steel drum, or “pan,” from its African roots to the distinct Caribbean sound we recognize today. From beginning to end, attendees will participate in the music-making of this distinctive instrument.

Shows typically last 45-60 minutes.

This is also an opportunity to explore the museum for free on the day of the event. So, come enjoy the music, and delve into the rich cultural heritage housed within our museum.
