Harvest Homecoming

Help us close out our summer celebration of 150 years of glassmaking in the Crystal City with the Harvest Homecoming. Browse the Glass Farmers Market, welcome home our glassblowers who spent the summer traveling the state aboard GlassBarge, and experience demos, tours and more. You won't want to miss the special demo, The Story of the Crystal City, to discover how Corning became the “Crystal City.” Have some hands-on glass fun with a Make Your Own Glass experience (fee required).

From noon to 5 pm, walk across Centerway Bridge or use the Museum’s free shuttle bus to enjoy the Gaffer District’s Harvest Festival in downtown Corning. At 7 pm, gather in Riverfront Park for a tribute to the glassmaking industry’s 150 year history in Corning, and enjoy fireworks at 7:30 pm. Visit gafferdistrict.com/harvest to learn more.
