Families Explore: Color

We see and experience colors every day. When you look through the Museum’s glass collection, you can see every color of the rainbow (plus some new ones!). At this special event, the whole family can learn more about color through hands-on activities. Explore nanotechnology and how it relates to glass and color with The Science and Discovery Center. Create a key ring with beads that change color, make a “stained glass” window with tissue paper, and more. Watch a live and colorful Hot Glass Show, and learn about how glassblowers use color to make interesting styles of glass. Activities & performances included in Museum admission.
