ADOPT-A-GLASS-PET DAY

Known for her curiously cute and thoroughly whimsical glass animal creations, Catherine Labonté will sign “birth certificates” for all of the glass animals “adopted” during Adopt-a-Glass-Pet Day. Birth certificates will include a drawing of each animal and a name chosen by the adoptive parent. Adoptions and signings with the artist will take place from 1 to 4 pm.

Following the glass pet adoptions in The Shops, Labonté will stay into the evening as a Guest Artist. Complete your day by seeing Labonte work, along with our Hot Glass Demos Team, to debut a new, never-before-seen animal during her demonstration in the Amphitheater Hot Shop.

Can’t make it? Catherine Labonté's guest artist demonstration will be live-streamed online at cmog.org from 6 to 7:30 pm. Plus, you can purchase any Catherine Labonté glass animal and Catherine herself will hand sign the “birth certificate” and personalize each glass pet with the name of your choosing.
